Basic Course with Elements of Podiatry
Girls! Don’t confuse this course with podology. I am not a podiatrist and would never claim to be one. I’m a master and instructor who is competent and safe in both manicure and pedicure.
So what is this course about? How not to turn a client into a PATIENT. In addition to two toe treatment techniques (combined and hardware) and two foot treatment methods, we study:
- How to properly cut toenails (after 10 years of practice, I can confidently say that half of clients and technicians have no idea what they are doing — even newborns can become patients of obstetricians and surgeons).
-
Competent work with tamponades, epidermal and dermal cracks, hyperkeratosis and hyperhidrosis, and resection of onycholysis.
Yes, an aesthetic master can handle all of this — it’s not rocket science. This is exactly what podologists are no longer interested in. - Upselling. What to recommend and how to sell “without vaporization.”
-
And of course, we’ll polish, cover, and film the nails. But we’ll also analyze what’s acceptable, what’s strictly forbidden, and in which cases.
Do you remember that “rough” master who never covers healthy nails? I’ll teach you how to do it right. - And of course — how not to devalue your work: pricing and communication with the client.
Even today, I still see both shock and happiness in clients’ eyes when I tell them about foot issues no one has ever mentioned to them before.
I’m waiting for you at Mikeladze Nail Academy.
And remember: PEDICURE is not a seasonal “nail decoration” service for sandals. It’s HYGIENE, it’s disease prevention, and it’s what keeps you from becoming a patient of a podiatrist or surgeon.
